Our new Achieve College Internships (ACI) program connects college juniors with outstanding professional experiences, mentors and networks that help launch careers. The majority of our 2021 intern candidates have been placed in exciting roles for the coming summer that will enhance their job-specific knowledge and provide experiences directly supporting their career pathways.
ACI college juniors have a broad and rich array of internship experiences lined up, including a marketing and communications role with a non-profit community education coalition, an events internship that will contribute to event planning for the Women’s Final Four 2022 and Title IX programming, an IT internship that includes sessions in software design with business analysts and senior developers, and a business-focused role that builds expertise in contract document management and construction equipment procurement and planning.
One of our college students is looking forward to an architecture internship at the Minneapolis office of a national architecture and design firm, and an engineering student is excited to begin a metrology internship with a global pharmaceutical company.
We are also bringing some of our healthcare careers students into roles within medical and community-focused organizations that serve through clinical practice and health and wellness services management. Others are applying their science and research course knowledge to analytical roles at an international medical solutions company with an initiative focused on reducing health inequities among underserved populations.
