Gabby Brown Torres (she/her) graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2020 with a degree in political science and minor studies in racial justice in urban schooling. Upon graduation, Gabby taught second grade for two years at a charter school in Minneapolis and soon after, transitioned to a role in the admissions office at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where she was charged with recruiting African and African-American students. In that position she discovered her love of supporting high school students exploring their post-secondary options.

During her free time, Gabby enjoys spending time with her family, her son, Carlo, and baking!
