Munira brings 10 years of experience as an educator and youth worker to Achieve Twin Cities. Before joining our team, she served as an AmeriCorps member, worked at the Annex Teen Clinic and was an equity specialist for Robbinsdale Area Schools.

As an equity specialist, Munira facilitated courageous conversations with staff and students to increase racial consciousness, created safe space to talk about equity issues and worked to amplify student voice in decision-making. She believes equity should be firmly at the forefront of our decision-making and daily work.

Munira received her B.A. in Biology from the University of Minnesota and an A.A. from Monroe Community College. She is passionate about youth advocacy and education and loves working with students and families at Heritage Academy.
