Tina (she/her/hers) has dedicated her professional journey to college and career readiness, youth employment and training, and youth homelessness initiatives. She has a passion in guiding young people to develop plans that empower them to thrive and achieve their full potential. She has extensive experience managing caseloads, planning and leading workshops and working with young people to connect their interests and skills to education and job opportunities.
Tina is a former AmeriCorps Alumni (MN Opportunity Corps), where she provided employment coaching to immigrants and refugees at CAPI USA. She has also worked at Oasis for Youth and Pillsbury United Communities, and spent time as a campus recruiter for the Emergency Physicians Professional Association.
She holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Minnesota State University at Moorhead and is currently completing her master's degree in human resource management at St. Mary University of Minnesota. Beyond her professional pursuits, Tina is a devoted single mom who cherishes spending quality time with her son. In her leisure time, she finds joy in traveling, exploring diverse cuisines and binge-watching shows.
