Step Up Supervisor Resources 2024

Welcome to summer 2024 and thank you for being part of Step Up, a program of the City of Minneapolis with Achieve Twin Cities, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and Project for Pride in Living.

Below are some key resources to plan your internship(s), supervise and support your Step Up intern(s) and have a great summer.

Handbooks and Guides

Included below are the Supervisor Handbook, the Youth Handbook and the Level 2 Forms ‘How-To’ Manual. The Supervisor Handbook includes program details, policies and procedures, tips for supervisors and other important information. The Youth Handbook is available here for your reference and in case you have a youth that does not have access to it. The Level 2 Forms ‘How-To’ Manual walks through each supervisor template document and how to best use if throughout the summer.

Additional Resources

There are many additional resources provided below that will help you address situations youth may be facing. You may encounter a mental health crisis or a youth struggling with homelessness. These resources will guide you in how to approach such situations, know what resources are available and help you be an advocate for our youth.
